News... but old news....

It's been a while since I last posted. Let me give a short, straight to the point assimilation of what has been going on in the last few months.

1. Still been dating the love of my life.
2. Engaged to the love of my life.
3. I now have a job working with the love of my life.
4. Life has been good.

Shelbee and I got engaged on February 13th, and we are set to be married on June 20th in Dallas. Life has now been triple the happiness, as well as triple the trials. But I know that there is one heckuva bright light at the end of the tunnel. :) All these past debts kept coming up, and worries about finding a job were stressing me to no end. But now that Shelbee helped me get a job as a tutor with the elementary school where she presently works at has been an answer to prayer. I work mostly with the 4th graders, who in short, are quite the handful. But at least most of the time all I do is babysit and play games. :) But I do have an hour and a half break so I can be with Ms. Forston's class and help her when she needs it.
I also had the pleasure of driving up to Utah during Spring Break with Shelbee and Coulter to visit my sister and to get our engagement pictures done. Our pictures turned out fabulous! The photographer, Jenni Rossi, is excellant and I would suggest her to anyone who are looking for a good photo person. Her blog can be found on Shelbee's blog, as I do not have the address now, but I will put it up on here when I get it.
Come on June.... I need you here now!!!

Hopefully we can see you guys soon! We miss not getting to hang out with you too more. By the way Evan, I netflixed "My Name is Bruce" and it was about as bad as "Alien Apocolypse". I was saddened...

Hey, Evan! This is just Shawnee this time. (sorry, i dont want you to think we just keep leaving comments on the same blog post)I'm so excited for you guys! We're excited to come down there. We definitely need to go to Buffalo Wild Wings next time you guys come up here. Shelbee hasn't gone with us karoake-ing ( not sure if that's spelt right) yet. That's cool you have a fun job! I need to find a fun job like that!

Well, well, well.
Evan, it has been a great while since we have spoken with one another.

And I hope I don't come off as a bastard saying this, but having you find someone--yes, I just found out--I have to say I am sincerely happy for you.

And maybe I am a jerk, because usually I am not happy for people at all. Usually I hope they get what they deserve...

But for you my friend, any good fortune that passes your way I believe is well deserved.
So, congratulations.

That, and you have facial hair. LONG LIVE THE BEARD!
No one can stop it, and all the greats had one...Jesus, Moses, Leo Tolstoy, Chuck Norris....
